I think I'm starting to realize what some women feel when they really want to have a baby. The more I think about it, the more I want to be someone's guide to life, I want to help develop them into who they are. I want to go through everything. The cuteness, the annoyance, the yelling, the punishing, the long talks about life lessons, everything. And finally feel how gratifying it is to watch them put to their own lives what they've learned from me.

The only difference is, I really want to adopt a kitty.
Children of my own? Oh God, no way. I want meows and fur and teeth and claws and kisses with a scratchy tongue.

I'm more or less out of my parents' house and living with my boyfriend, Tristan. And it feels strange not having a kitty around. Back with my folks, I've had my cat Peachy since I was five years old. She's quite spoiled by my dad and brother now, and mainly just treats me as a visitor. Wah. So Tristan and I have talked about adopting one to have here. We'll most likely do it once school is out so I can be with the cat more often while it gets used to the house. And I can take TONS and TONS of adorable kitty photos! Yay, I'm excited to be a cat-mom soon!

Heading to San Mateo tomorrow for the Makers Fair after work. Taking la camera, should get some interesting shots out of it. Toodles!
